"The thing is, when explaining an edit, you only have so much room. To use proper grammar and words of full length would not have fit in the edit summary. You try it. So, I shortened it until it fit which meant things like writing "Grønlds fk" or "1 Dk+1 Nor fk" which are obviously not properly spelt, and removing nonessential words (and in the process messing up the grammar) to shorten it enough to fit."
How do you explain "I går holdbar glat give ild epstille hortigt!" or "Myre samanstile Svansk folk"? This bunch of rubbish does not make any sense in Danish. "Jer ikke Sysop, bastillen" sounds really funny. Why do you refer to me as en:Bastille? In fact, I suspect that your command of Greenlandic is even worse than your command of Danish, which as a Germanic language is closely related to English and should be a lot more easy to learn for native English speakers.
Danish isn't really very easy to learn, especially compared with Greenlandic, which is a very regular and natural language.
If you are so sure I'm incorrect, rather than what you're doing why not fetch an expert and ask them? I have vouched for myself, I have met your requirements for a real Greenlander, but then you say that's not good enough. You can rot in hell for all I care.
That fact that a person located in Greenland edited the front page does not mean your grammar is correct or that your text makes any sense, which it most likely don't. He might be a newbie who didn't care to translate or do anything with a text which seemed like rubbish.
I enjoy your worthless speculations. Having experience with small Wikipedias, whenever rubbish is put up by a vandal, a native speaker will eventually come along and say "This is gibberish!" or "What is this rubbish?" or "This isn't real [language name]!", even if they don't care to fix it themselves.
The text that was added by this user indicates that they aren't a newbie. When have you seen a newbie add a suggestion that people help translate Wikipedia's userinterface by editing LanguageXX.php?
You are the one who claims, with no understanding of Greenlandic, that my translation is subpar. Well, with my knowledge of German, I could equally go to the German Wikipedia and say I thought everything they wrote was horrible grammar and made no sense. Since you have made these claims, the burden of proof is on YOU. If you really are concerned rather than just caring so much about having a text in your beloved Danish language, you will find somebody you can ask who will inevitably tell you that I am right, and if by some odd chance they don't, they can tell you what's wrong with it and you can fix it.
Why don't you edit Wikipedias in languages which you actually speak? Jimbo has told you to leave Wikipedias like this one in peace.
I don't recall Jimbo telling me that. In fact, I am the most active editor on the majority of Wikipedias with less than 100 articles, and Jimbo knows this but doesn't complain. Surely, Angela has noticed this conflict by now (in fact I asked her about it once when it was still a once-monthly reversion), and if she thought there was any problem here Jimbo would have said something about it. Why don't YOU leave this Wikipedia in peace? You actually scared away the only actual Greenlandic user by reverting his text. Good for you.
